A group of teenagers fight an army experiment gone wrong as hordes of the undead threaten all forms of life.

We've certainly seen this story done before (DAWN OF THE DEAD, DAY OF THE DEAD and THE DEAD NEXT DOOR come to mind) but the film is made with a passion for bloodshed and gore hounds everywhere will probably rejoice at AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION.

I didn't love the characters and the actors are so young & inexperienced that they don't really leave any kind of impression.  But the film is a bloodbath and made with a zest for the most creative ways the film fx team could pull off special make-up effects with this low-budget.

Dimension EXTREME provides some solid bonus features on this DVD.  DELETED SCENES comes with Optional Director's Commentary.  Steven C. Miller doesn't hold back his enthusiasm for his project and tells the story of how he made this movie.  Some of this is similar to the documentary and I personally prefer the Making Of the movie.

Suffer Or Sacrifice:  is a short film by Director Steven C. Miller.  This was a nice addition to this disc as it gives you chance to see what Miller did before this film.

"Can You Hear Me Know" is a Music Video by Blinded Black.  Dancefloor Tragedy as has a Music Video called "Arsenaholic."

I actually enjoyed watching Trails And Tribulations: The Making of Automation Transfusion because it really shows and tells how the cast and crew made the film.  The film was made in Orlando, Florida.  The film team got some cooperation from the city but had trouble with one man who didn't want to let them use his land after agreeing to letting the film be shot on his property.  There some gushing over the cast and crew (something that's become the norm with young filmmakers and actors) but overall you won't be that disappointed in the documentary.

I would actually say that AUTOMATION TRANSFUSION is this generation's  THE DEAD NEXT DOOR.
