Review by Mike Porciello

It's no wonder that this documentary has received so many critical endorsements. From the likes of The Bram Stoker Society, and Dracula Societies of London and Transylvania, this is is the documentary regarding Dracula that you've been waiting for.

Follow our hosts through parts of Europe untouched since the middle ages, as author Bram Stoker's past is uncovered. Learn the life and times of Prince Vlad the Third, and the shape changing Hollywood fang toothed anti-hero.

Vlad the Third, a Voivode (Ruler) was a 15th century devout Christian, who fought many successful battles against Muslim crusades. Having killed tens of thousands of people, his preferred method was impalement.

His cruelty and barbarism were the stuff of legend. See how Irish author Bram Stoker researched his ideas for his classic gothic novel, see WHERE he wrote Dracula, and learn the comparisons between the real Dracula, Vlad Tepes, (Impaler) and the Hollywood vampire that so many confuse for folklore.

Dracula: The Vampire and The Voivode is an excellent and necessary piece of history.
