Roadrunner Records - 2010 | |

The boys are back in town. Ratt makes a return to the fun-loving energy of their best albums in the mid-80s with their best album since then. Warren DeMartini and Carlos Cavazo rip it on guitars, keeping things rockin' hard and Stephen Pearcy sounds in fine form. Bobby Blotzer's drums seem more active than than the past few albums and Robbie Crane's bass glues it all together. Eleven tunes alternate between hard rock, rock blues and party rock. The thing that permeates from Infestation is the guys are being themselves and having a good time. Standout tracks include "Eat me Alive" "Best of Me," "A Little Too Much" (love the middle part where Pearcy talks and De Martini plays the soft clean riffs that are kind of like "Nobody Rides For Free") and "Lost Weekend" which should be the theme song for NHRA Championship Drag Racing.
