The Unborn – Music by Ramin Djawadi

Lakeshore Records – 2009

The score for THE UNBORN really surprised me.  It's incredible melodic with haunting themes that are cool.  From the first track "The Unborn"
which features cool modern drums and percussion and a creepy seductive female voice Ramin Djawadi establishes a groove that will make you want to listen to his score.  It's moody, creepy and scary but maybe more important enjoyable to listen to.

There is some screaming metallic brass, whooshing sounds and metal hits to startle you with stingers.  But that's not what makes this score so good.  It's the melody that helps carry you through this storyline and underline this film.

I want to see this film now because of this score.  I'd get THE UNBORN to add to your CD collection and give you 50 minutes worth of music that an be played during the witches & warlocks season and/or the whole year round.  It's that good.
