A young couple, hiking in the mountains, suddenly face terrifying tale of survival. While skinny dipping in a nearby lake, Sheryl (Brianna Brown) is kidnapped by a psychopathic monster who forces her to participate in a satanic ritual along with her fiancé. This little thriller had me pleasantly surprised with sure handed direction, solid acting, some beautiful European locations (suppose to be US) and an overall twisted tale of violence and perversion. Brianna Brown is definitely a looker and I won't be surprised if she gets more work from this film. Character actor Nick Searcy is absolutely perfect as the twisted nut job Clyde, the father of the satanic cult. Autonomous F/X does a great job with creating the monster in the film and supplying the other special make-up effects. TIMBER FALLS comes with a neat Behind the Scenes featurette. This is how I learned the locations were actually Europe and you get to know about the cast and crew. I would definitely recommend this to everyone out there.
