Ginger Snaps
II Unleashed Music by Kurt Swinghammer Reaction Releasing/Apartment Hunting Productions Inc. - 2004 |
Swinghammer expertly works his electronic arsenal with assorted keyboards screaming, scratching, thumping and distorting to throw you into a state of despair. The composer from Canada immediately puts you on the edge of your seat because his soundtrack is unpredictable and unconventional. You never know whats coming and what will hit you right across the face. Swinghammers not against creating grooves, like "Hunted," which almost has a dance beat to its insane mixture of scrapping keys, ringing alarms and all sorts of percussive elements. There is a wild assortment of different moods captured on this disc. There is a science fiction feel to "Mostly Ghostly" and "Purple Drug." Swinghammer can also get comical in tracks like "Institutional Green." This is not a CD that you are totally prepared to hear. It brings on an unexpected sound that many of you would appreciate and find an audio thrill ride. I remember the music did the job of making me feel what was happening while watching GINGER SNAPS II Unleashed. Take a ride into the adventure Kurt Swinghammer has created, which is sure to bring you to places you havent yet explored. |
