Ghost of England & Belgrave Hall.jpg (13635 bytes) The ISPR Investigates GHOSTS of England and Belgrave Hall
Delta Entertainment Corporation - 2001

Created by Andrew Jones and Scott Madden
Co-Created by Dr. Larry Montz and Daena Smoller

This is a fascinating DVD which chronicles the International Society for Paranormal Research (ISPR) investigation of the ghosts of England and Belgrave Hall. It is stated at the beginning that all information regarding the history and or facts of each case study was kept away from the investigators and revealed only after each investigation was complete. This information proves critical in the ISPR’s effectiveness to uncover the truth of paranormal activity.

The ISPR team is comprised of; Dr. Larry Montz a parapsychologist who has been conducting field studies for 27 years, Deana Smoller a transmedium/paranormal investigator, Peter James is a clairvoyant/paranormal investigator who investigated literally hundreds of sites over the years, Derek Acorah is the teams’ UK investigator, Linda Mackenzie is a psychic healer/clairvoyant who has been psychic since she was 8 years old and Shawn Roop is a student investigator who comes from the scientific community. Over the years the team has investigated thousands of properties all over the world and this 130 minute DVD focuses on the locations in Great Britain.

The first section is called Ghosts of England. I found the Jack the Ripper section riveting. Some of the details the group uncovers are shocking and uncanny to say the least. I didn’t know many of the facts about Jack the Ripper so for me this section uncovered many interesting things. Euxton Mills and Tongue Hall are two other places that have reported paranormal activity and the team’s effort validates this to be true.

Ghosts of Belgrave Hall is the second pat of this DVD. It starts out with a news clip from local English TV that says, "A security camera has captured what appear to be two ghostly apparitions on the grounds of Belgrave Hall Museum." The news woman adds nobody can explain who or what they are. This is a great way to open and helps lead the following chapters into specific answers of who may have been captured on the close-circuit television camera.

The team’s approach seems to be a combination of science mixed with psychic channeling. Certain members can communicate with the dead. Since Belgrave Hall was built from 1709-1713, there is a long history with many people occupying its space. What was amazing to witness was the ISPR team work and uncover details that prove to be true and accurate. It will make your hair stand up and make you believe in ghosts.

The DVD image quality is nice with appropriate editing and ambient music. Nothing is done over the top or flashy. It’s a rather subdued presentation which gels well with the reality of the situation.

I think that this DVD would appeal to anyone and most of you would like it more than that.
