Midnight Syndicate – Out of the Darkness
Retrospective: 1994 – 1999
Linfaldia Records – 2006
Out Of The Darkness is a superb gathering of tunes from Midnight Syndicate’s first five years of existence. For those who missed the albums the band put out between that time, this is the most condense way to get an overview of what Midnight Syndicate created for that period.

The 24 tracks contained on this CD come from the albums; The Dead Matter (1996), Midnight Syndicate (1997), Born of the Night (1998) and Realm of Shadows (2000). A special treat is the four previously unreleased cues "Return of the Apparition," "Scenes From THE DEAD MATTER," "Prisoner of Time" and "Theme to JOURNEY INTO DEMENTIA."

Many of you might have already heard Midnight Syndicate. They are probably the nation’s largest supplier of music for haunted houses and other spook show events. This proved to be true for me this October when I was went to the Bayville Scream Park. That Saturday night, while standing in line to buy tickets into the Halloween themed park, I heard a young woman say, "This music is really scary. Just think how frightening it’s going to be inside." Sure enough I recognized that the music was Midnight Syndicate, which I brought to the attention to my wife and friend visiting from out of state. I’m sure this type of response would bring a smile to Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka.

"Born of the Night," "Eye of the Storm," "Noctem Aeternus," "The Night Beckons," "Forbidden Crypts" and "Druids" highlighted the twenty-four tracks of terror.

This Halloween is the perfect time to get to join the legion of Midnight Syndicate fans and you can do so with getting this Retrospective CD.
