Masters Of Horror - "Right To Die"
Anchor Bay Entertainment - 2007

Directed by Rob Schmidt
Written by John Esposito

Starring
Martin Donovan
Corbin Bernsen
Julia Anderson
Robyn Sidney

In "RIGHT TO DIE," a couple going through a difficult time gets in an terrible car wreck that leaves the husband Cliff Addison (Martin Donovan) injured and his wife Abby (Julia Anderson) badly burned.

What appears to be just a car accident is exposed to be more than and the activities Cliff had been involved in are addressed by Abby's spirit.

Rob Schmidt is underrated as far as I'm concerned.  With this episode and WRONG TURN, he's two for two in my book.  The film looks and sound nice with Martin Donovan providing his normal assured performance.  Julia Anderson is not only sensational looking, but she's got something that stands out besides her silky dark hair and phenomenal physicality.  I wished she would have been used more in the episode.  Corbin Bernson is perfectly cast as the weasel lawyer.

As with all the episodes of MOH, Anchor Bay provides a host of bonus features on this DVD.  BURNT OFFERINGS: Making of RIGHT TO DIE shows how the film was made with cast & crew.

Flay-O-Trish: A Look Behind the Bloody SFX of RIGHT TO DIE shows the KNB guys at work.

Rob Schmidt discuses how he made the film in the Audio CommentaryStoryboard Gallery and a DVD-ROM of Screenplay complete the supplements.

I was very pleased with watching RIGHT TO DIE.  It tackles a controversial subject, is quite bloody at times and is sexy too.
