It was the first time seeing Dokken live since 1995. This was a different band with Jon Levin on guitar and Barry Sparks on bass. I have to admit Jon Levin sounds a hell of a lot like George Lynch, even live. He has brought much needed energy to the band. Levin is the most inspired band member since "Mr. Scary" left. |

Dokken played a couple tracks from their cool new CD Lightning Strikes Twice but most of their set contained classic tunes such as "Kiss of Death," "Tooth And Nail," "Breaking The Chains," "Into The Fire" and "In My Dreams." Their set was much better than what I expected. |

It was basically it was just over one year (and a week to be exact) since I last saw Poison play live at the beach. Brett Michaels' and the boys brought their fun-loving attitude and music to give all of us another entertaining evening. |

Poison who was in support of their new LIVE RAW UNCUT DVD/CD reached back into their discography to treat us to tracks like "Look What The Cat Dragged In," "Ride The Wind," "Something To Believe In," and of course their staples "Unskinny Bop," "I Want Action," "Fallen Angel," and "Nothing But A Good Time." |

The crowd was definitely digging the show as everyone was on their feet, singing and dancing to the tunes. Especially the ladies. You wouldn't believe what this band gets women to do once they hit the stage. I've never seen more high heels, tight skirts and tiny tops squeezing out as much cleavage as possible anywhere else. |
